Audiences are becoming harder to reach and with media channels increasingly fragmenting, and understanding how media budgets are invested is more important than ever
Media spend often makes the largest portion of a campaign budget, yet it is not always scrutinised as rigorously as it should be, because many people don't feel confident enough to challenge the recommendations made.
Advertising Council Australia's new Evaluating Media Workshop is designed to change that, by building the knowledge, confidence and language needed to have more informed conversations about media investment.
After selling out 3 times, this workshop will be back in Perth in July. Facilitated by Paul Hindle, a brilliant media strategist who has 30+ years of experience across Australia, London and New York, having worked with brands including Coca-Cola, Nestlé and Westpac, and held senior leadership roles with OMD, Carat and Longreach Media.

He’s known for making complex media and marketing challenges practical, commercial and easy to understand.
Designed for anyone who influences, manages or approves media spend, this practical one-day workshop demystifies how media decisions are made, exploring everything from the “six dials” in the media money box to the costs, trade-offs, measurement frameworks and strategic rationale that sit behind media recommendations, giving participants the confidence to challenge recommendations, ask better questions and make more informed investment decisions.
