WPP Media Appoints Marcelle Hoyek to Lead EssenceMediacom Sydney Client Portfolio

WPP Media has appointed Marcelle Hoyek to lead its EssenceMediacom client portfolio in Sydney, which includes Lion, HBO Max, Uber, Commonwealth Bank, KFC and UPI
Marcelle brings extensive agency leadership experience, with a strong reputation for building high‑performing teams, delivering commercial impact and fostering cultures where people and clients thrive.
She joins EssenceMediacom Sydney as Client Managing Director at a pivotal moment, with the business continuing to expand its client base and capabilities across media, data, technology and integrated communications.

Reporting to Pippa Berlocher, Marcelle will lead EssenceMediacom Sydney’s clients, people and operations, working closely with the ANZ leadership team to accelerate growth and strengthen the agency’s position as a market‑leading media partner.
Hoyek joins from iProspect, where she has been National Managing Director for the past 3 years, and before that Sydney MD.
She joins WPP Media on 1 July.
