Deaf Lottery Launches New Brand

After 33 years of delivering life-changing prizes and vital support to Deaf Australians, Deaf Connect is unveiling a fresh new brand for its biggest fundraiser – the Deaf Lottery.

Deaf Lottery Launches New Brand

Developed in collaboration with Brisbane based advertising agency nextThursday, the rebrand introduces exciting new changes to the overall creative direction for the Deaf Lottery – including a bold new logo and a national campaign across TV, radio, print, and digital platforms.

Deaf Lottery is the only lottery in Australia that allows winners to personalise their $800,000 major prize. With eight draws a year, winners can take their pick from dream homes, travel, cars, gold bullion and more.

The new campaign, titled ‘Definitely a Deaf Lottery Winner,’ celebrates that freedom with a bold and playful look at the unexpected, and often extraordinary, lifestyle choices that only this kind of lottery allows.

ABOUT DEAF LOTTERY

The Deaf Lottery is a charity lottery that operates as the major fundraising arm for Deaf Connect. It provides Deaf Connect with the ongoing financial freedom to support the Deaf community through grants and sponsorships, funds for services not covered by the NDIS, and the capacity to grow services into new areas where they are needed the most. Since its creation in 1987, the Deaf Lottery has grown significantly, allowing Deaf Connect to stay competitive with other charity lotteries.

 ABOUT DEAF CONNECT

Deaf Connect is the largest whole-of-life service provider and social impact organisation for Deaf, Deafblind and hard of hearing Australians. Deaf Connect stands with the Deaf community to build capacity and influence social change, while paying respect to Deaf history, culture and language.

Deaf Connect is the largest employer of Deaf and hard-of-hearing people in Australia, a registered provider under the National Disability Insurance Scheme and an approved provider of in-home care for seniors.
