Doodles and Golden Wolf release animated short 'Dullsville and the Doodleverse' across streaming platforms

Doodles, in collaboration with Emmy-nominated creative agency Golden Wolf, recently released its 20-minute animated short, Dullsville and the Doodleverse on YouTube and other streaming platforms. The release follows the film’s exclusive run on the Doodles Stoodio streaming app.

Premiering at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, the animated short follows Hap, a mad scientist, and his companion Mello as they adventure through the contrasting worlds of Dullsville, and the vibrant Doodleverse. The film combines animation with a star-studded soundtrack produced by Pharrell Williams, who also serves as Doodles’ Chief Brand Officer.

The film’s score and sound design were created by Take Your Medicine, the brainchild of Golden Wolf and world-renowned producer Phonat. The production of the film was created through a collaboration between Burnt Toast, the artist and founder of Doodles, and Golden Wolf, which Doodles acquired in 2023.

Dullsville and the Doodleverse is part of a larger content experience that includes a three-track EP, featuring music from the film’s soundtrack. Each track is paired with its own animated music video.

This three-month creative campaign aimed to bridge the gap between physical and digital worlds, blurring the lines between fantasy and reality while bringing the Doodles universe to life in a new and innovative way.
