The world’s biggest youth innovation competition returns, offering the chance to win a coveted internship at L’Oréal’s Global Headquarters in Paris.

Every year, L’Oréal Brandstorm invites young innovators aged 18-30 to reimagine the future of beauty.
Now entering its 34th year, the 2026 challenge invites youth to craft the future of luxury fragrance: designing unparalleled products and experiences, powered by pure creativity, pioneering tech & science, and bespoke services.
In partnership with L’Oréal Luxe, home to iconic brands such as Lancôme, Aesop, and Yves Saint Laurent, Brandstorm offers youth from all backgrounds a unique opportunity to engage with the world’s leading names in luxury beauty.
The grand prize? A professional mission at L’Oréal’s Global HQ in Paris, and the opportunity to begin a career with L’Oréal as a Management Trainee.
A Transformative Opportunity for WA Students
For Western Australian marketing students Sean Palm, Annalise Peacock, and Pia Finn, the 2025 edition of Brandstorm had an immense impact on their professional journeys.
As Team Level Up, the trio advanced to the national finals in Melbourne, where they pitched to L’Oréal senior leaders, received mentorship from L’Oréal experts, and gained invaluable professional connections.

Sean, who will soon join L’Oréal as a Marketing Management Trainee in Melbourne, reflects:
“As marketing students, this competition was more than just a 3-minute pitch, but an invaluable experience that challenged us to align creativity, storytelling, and strategy with nuanced consumer needs.
For me, Brandstorm also opened the door to a life-changing opportunity with L’Oréal, one I might not have had if I hadn’t taken that leap with Annalise and Pia.”
Pia shares:
“The experience from ideation, team meetings that were filled with passion and laughter, the excitement from receiving the news we got into national finals, and presenting in Melbourne is a journey I will cherish forever. I learnt so much and made myself so proud with how much I pushed myself and grew as a person.”
Annalise adds:
“This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! To present in Melbourne, while working with a dream company and the best teammates that are equally as driven, hardworking and talented, is an experience I’ll treasure forever.”
