Novated Lease Australia (NLA) has appointed Priya Kanniappan as Chief Marketing Officer to lead brand expansion and the company’s marketing strategy

Novated Lease Australia Appoints Priya Kanniappan Chief Marketing Officer

Kanniappan joins NLA’s executive team with over 13 years’ experience across Australia’s leading digital marketplaces. She’s held senior marketing leadership roles at carsales, Eventbrite, and most recently Easy Weddings.

Her background spans brand transformation, growth marketing and customer acquisition across the automotive and technology sectors.

Her appointment follows a bumper year for NLA, with more than $420 million in novated leases originated in the past 12 months — up 45% year-on-year — across both SME and mid-to-large corporate customers and public sectors. NLA is one of the fastest-growing providers of novated leasing services in Australia.

At NLA, Kanniappan will lead brand and customer marketing strategy as the business continues its expansion, with a focus on maintaining service quality and customer trust.

That focus is reflected in more than 2,800 five-star reviews across Australia’s three major independent review platforms.

“That level of consistent customer advocacy is rare, particularly at scale,”

said Kanniappan.

“It’s a strong signal of a business that’s built real trust through experience. I’m excited to evolve the brand, accelerate growth, and help position Novated Lease Australia for its next phase.”

CEO, Bevan Guest, said the appointment reflects the company’s belief in brand and marketing as key growth drivers.

“Priya brings exactly the kind of marketplace and growth marketing experience we need as we continue to grow,”

Guest said.

“We’re investing in leadership and capability to ensure we keep delivering a better, simpler experience for customers.”

To support this growth, NLA has grown its workforce by around a third over the past year and now employs approximately 100 people nationally, ahead of further expansion in 2026.
