That's The Power of Love! WA’s advertising, marketing and media industry raised $155,793 for The Salvation Army at the 29th annual Oasis Ball
Attended by more than 750 advertising professionals, clients, and interstate guests, the event is more than a night of glamour and connection. It is a long‑standing celebration of recognition, generosity and community impact.

This year’s donation brings the total raised over 29 years to more than $3m. These funds provide the flexibility needed to support young people sleeping rough to help them rebuild their lives. The funds will contribute to safe accommodation options, as well as skills development and pathways into education and employment.
Oasis Chair and Carat Client Partner, Michelle Testa delivered a heartfelt address, thanking the industry:
“This year that purpose stopped being abstract and became deeply personal as we took our ballroom guests into the home of one of the young people our money impacted last year. Kristi sat in her living room, describing what home meant to her after years of abuse, trauma and separation from her sisters - now reunited thanks to our funds, and thriving.
That’s not nostalgia. That’s hope. That’s change. That’s impact.”
Guy Rees, State Manager for The Salvation Army Youth Service, said:
“These funds will change lives here in WA - creating safety, opportunity and hope for so many young people. ‘Thank you’ never feels enough, but thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
The Oasis Committee extends its sincere thanks to all sponsors, partners and supporters who contributed to raising these vital funds - without the crew behind the curtain, offering financial, product or investment of time we could not achieve this impact:
