Truestock Launches Curated Library of Australian Stock Images

Truestock has launched a curated Australian stock image library offering exclusive, royalty-free local stock images that aim to capture an authentic, diverse and beautiful Australia.

It aims to champion local Australian photographers by building a stock library of authentic, campaign-ready images that capture everyday life from a distinctly local perspective.

Their goal is to provide businesses, the creative sector, and government organisations with access to high-quality, locally sourced stock images. From bustling cityscapes to serene rural landscapes, Truestock features narrative-based depictions of everyday life, everyday family moments and primary sector experiences.

Four scenes: a family in a sunlit field, a woman on a truck with a laptop, people at a turquoise coffee van, and a man with a boy holding a soccer ball.

The library features images shot exclusively in Australia.

Truestock is committed to ethical production, ensuring models are paid directly for their work, while photographers receive a 50% commission on every image sold.

“We’re very excited to offer this local resource of high quality royalty-free stock images."

says Tanmay Desai, CEO & Co-Founder of Truestock.

"We encourage a dialogue between us and the Australian marketing and design community in order to capture content that’s often underrepresented or absent in international stock libraries. With contributors in every state already, we’re looking for insights to capture content that’s relevant and helpful."

The library is set to expand in the coming months, with plans to welcome more talented photographers from across Australia as contributors.

“I was attracted to Truestock as they have designer DNA. I have a huge respect for designers, those who rely on images to do their job well. Working with Truestock feels like working with our clients. Exchanging ideas, collaborating, and working toward the same goals; to create beautiful Australian stock images, that feel real and are a dream for a designer to work with.”

says Matt Reed, Truestock contributor from Bibra Lake, WA.

“I joined Truestock for its superior standard of imagery, surpassing the current offerings in Australia, all while championing diversity and authenticity.”

says Rowena Naylor, Truestock contributor from Melbourne, VIC.
