September Grill Guest, Melissa Osterhage - Head of Marketing at Galati Group
Thursday night saw more than fifty of Perth's most curious marketers gather to Grill Galati Group Head of Marketing, Melissa Osterhage about career paths, petroleum, and potatoes - and she brought the goods; literally and figuratively.
Questions came in thick and fast for this seasoned marketer around retail marketing, brand mascots, in-housing, and staying true to your brand's purpose - which the Spudshed brand does so well.
Genuinely caring about farmers and WA families is at the heart of the man and the brand.
Melissa was incredibly candid and genuine with her responses to all your questions and was a fabulous guest - we're so thrilled she finally agreed to sit int he hot seat!
It also happened to be Grill The Marketer's 6th birthday, and while marketers from all walks got the opportunity to ask questions, chat to other likeminded folks, take home some cool Spudshed merch, share their thoughts with Alexandra on camera, afterward - we ate some cake.

But you probably really came here to see the photo gallery, right? Here you go!
We farewell Sean, our The Marketer intern, as he prepares to move onto more Melbourney-er pastures. We wish him every success and thank him for his professionalism, positivity and dedication. Melbourne gets a double does of young talent as Brayden also heads over to start a new chapter, as a former Jumpstart participant, how fun to see some of the current Jumpstart crew roll in after their session at 303 MullenLowe.
Massive thanks as always to everyone who came and made this event what it is - the format doesn't work without you!
Big love to our amazing MC Jacqueline, who always keeps it on the rails (Just. Which is the way we like it), Peter at Spoilt Photo Booths for his skills behind the lens, Alex the content queen, fill in mic-man Gabe, Zoe who greets you all with her signature smile, and our event partner the Australian Marketing Institute.

Hope you're all enjoying your Stress Spud!
See you on November 20th for the final grill of the year with our guests; Champions of Change - Leigh Wood and Tess Palmyre.
You do NOT want to miss this one.
